Aloha Airlines , an airline headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii USA, that operates extensive scheduled services within the Hawaiian Islands, and between Hawaii and the West Coast of the United States, was founded in 1946 as Trans-Pacific Airlines. Its main base is Honolulu International Airport.
Check-in times: For interisland flights, you are to check-in at least 60 minutes prior to the flight and be at the boarding gate no later than 15 minutes prior to the flight departure. It is recommended to allow more time during peak weekend and holiday travel periods. For transpacific domestic flights you are to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to departure to check in and be at the boarding gate no later than 30 minutes prior to your flight departure.
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for the new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.
Baggage: one carry-on bag is allowed per person in addition to one personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop. Carry-on bags must fit under a seat or in a designated overhead compartment. Carry-on items may be as large as 8x14x22 inches, with a maximum weight of 20 pounds. Boogie boards, strollers, coolers with ice, and guitars in hard-sided cases are not permitted as carry-on baggage. For domestic flights (including interisland) and flights between the U.S Mainland and Hawaii, up to two pieces of checked baggage are allowed free of charge. Each bag should weigh no more than 50 pounds and not exceed 62 linear inches. Bags over 70 pounds are not accepted.
Senior fares: Adults must be traveling on AA purchased published fare.
Child fares: : Infants under two may be held on an adult's lap free of charge.
and are eligible for a 50% discount off the applicable adult fare, but must be booked at the same time as accompanying adults. Children two years of age and older must travel in a purchased seat, at an adult fare.
Pet travel: small domestic cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles and household birds can be transported within the State of Hawaii . Transportation of pets between the Hawaiian Islands and the U.S. Mainland is not permitted . Pets are limited to one pet per container and one container per passenger in the cabin and must meet Aloha's carry-on baggage requirements. Larger pets travel as baggage on a space-available basis and the following charges are applied to them: there's a $35 fee for animals 50 pounds or less, $60 fee for animals of 51-70 pounds and $100 fee for those between 71-100 pounds. Animals traveling as baggage are not included as part of free baggage allowance.
Pre-assigned seating: can be booked for no extra cost online . A seating plan with legroom details is also available on http://www.alohaairlines.com, where you can choose the perfect seat.
Legroom: seat pitch is about 32-34”.
In-flight service: Meals and snacks are served, soft and alcoholic drinks are available for sale. Ñ omplimentary entertainment is offered on all audio/visual-equipped flights.
Air miles: AlohaPass or United Mileage Plus program gives a chance to earn free travel and access to special features , like managing credits from canceled flights,etc.
