Philippine Airlines is the national airline of the Philippines , founded in 1941. It is the first commercial airline in Asia and the oldest of those currently in operation. With its corporate headquarters in Makati City , Philippine Airlines flies both domestic and international flights. It claims to serve twenty-one domestic airports and thirty-one foreign cities. Its main hub is Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the city of Parañaque .
Check-in times: Passengers are requested to check-in at least 4 hours before scheduled departure time. Early Check-in: Philippine Airlines Check-in counters at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Centennial Terminal 2 are open as early as 1:30 a.m. for domestic flights and 4:00 a.m. for international flights. You may check in the same day ahead of your scheduled departure time.
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for a new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.
Baggage allowance: two pieces of carry-on baggage , total of 12 kilos are allowed per passenger of First or Mabuhay (Business) Class free of charge. And One piece of carry-on baggage weighing seven kilos – per passenger of Fiesta (Economy) Class .Total linear dimensions of the cabin baggage must not exceed 45 inches (22" length, 14" width and 9" height) For Journeys to/from the USA and Canada the maximum of two (2) pieces of checked baggage with a total dimension of 124 inches (316cms) and no piece exceeding 62 inches (158 cm) are allowed free of charge for passengers of the First Class and Mabuhay (Business) Class . ( each piece should not exceed 32 kilograms (70 lbs)) and the Maximum of two (2) pieces with a total dimension 107 inches (273 cm) and no piece exceeding 62 inches (158 cm) for Fiesta (Economy) Class . Each piece should not exceed 32 kilograms (70 lbs).
For Journeys to/from countries other than the USA and Canada check-in luggage should not exceed 40 kilograms (88 lbs) (for First Class) ,30 kilograms (66 lbs)- ( Mabuhay (Business) Class) and 20 kilograms (44 lbs)- Fiesta (Economy) Class

Pet travel: cats or dogs can be carried for a certain fee. Only one pet is allowed per passenger, with the exception of service animals
