Check-in times: At Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2, customers holding confirmed flight reservations on Singapore Airlines may check in up to 48 hours before flight departure with their baggage. Economy Class passengers may check in at any of the counters at Row 3. This service is available daily from 6.30 am to 12.00 midnight. Save time at the airport and confirm your preferred seat. Internet check-In is available from 2 to 48 hours before departure, from all cities in our network except Colombo, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for the new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.
Baggage allowance: Two pieces of cabin baggage, each weighing not more than 7 kg are permitted per person. The sum of the three dimensions of each cabin baggage must not exceed 115cm (length + width + height.). Passengers of the First class with children age (2+) are allowed 40 kg of checked baggage free of charge/ passengers of Raffles Class – 30 kg/ passengers of Economy Class -20 kg. Baggage exceeding weight limitations will be assessed an additional charge. Infants are permitted 10 kg of checked baggage . In addition a fully collapsible stroller or carry cot may be checked in without charge. KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members are entitled to 20 kg of extra baggage allowance to all destinations except USA and Canada. For flights to/from USA and Canada, KrisFlyer Elite Gold members are entitled to one additional piece of checked baggage. PPS Club Members are entitled to 100% more free baggage allowance. Passengers of the First and Raffles classes are allowed up to two pieces, the sum of the three dimensions (length + width + height) of each piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 in.) The weight of each piece is limited to 32 kg. Passengers of Economy Class are allowed up to two pieces, of baggage. The total dimension (length + width + height) of both pieces must not exceed 273 cm (107 in) and the outside linear dimensions of each bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 in.) The weight of each piece is limited to 32 kg for flights To/from Canada and USA . Krisflyer Elite Gold members are entitled to 1 extra piece of check-in baggage in any class of travel. PPS Club members are entitled to 4 pieces of check-in bags under the piece concept.

Air miles: frequent flyer scheme, KrisFlyer , is available for online enrollment. It gives a chance to earn free travel and access to special features, like managing credits from canceled flights,etc
