You are to Check-in 45 min before departure and be at the gate 15 min prior to departure if traveling from Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Orlando, FL and to check in 60 min before the flight and be at the gate 45 min before the flight if traveling from St. Thomas, VI; San Juan, PR. If traveling from Washington, D.C. Boston, MA or New York, NY (LaGuardia) you’re required to check-in 15 min before departure and be at the gate 5 min before departure. You must be checked in and be at the gate at least 45 minutes before your scheduled departure time and must be checked in at least 60 minutes before your scheduled departure if you are checking bags, for flights outside the US.

And the required check –in time is 2 hours before departure if traveling from Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, St. Lucia and Bogota, Colombia/3 hours if traveling from Istanbul, Turkey; Kiev, Ukraine; Moscow, Russia; Nassau, Bahamas; Tel Aviv, Israel. Delta.com check-in is available if you are traveling within the 50 United States or between the 50 United States and Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Change to passenger name or flight: Based on the fare rules, you may have to pay a service fee and/or a difference in fare. For travel within the 50 United States, the fee is $50 for Delta flights. For travel outside the United States, the change fee is typically $200, but can vary based on location and type of fare. Changes are usually permitted only to the return portion of an international itinerary.

Baggage allowance: one bag plus one personal item (like Male or female purse, briefcase, Laptop computer, Camera case, Diaper bag) can be carried per passenger. Each carry-on item has to weigh less than 40 pounds (18 kg), not to exceed 45 inches (total length plus width plus height), to fit easily into our SizeWise unit (approximately 22"x14"x9") and fit in an overhead bin or underneath the seat in front of you. Two checked bags are permitted per passenger free of charge. Each bag must weigh not more than 50 pounds (22.5 kg) and Not exceed 62 inches (length plus width plus height). Passengers traveling to or from Key West , Florida are limited to one checked bag. The free weight allowance is 70 pounds (32 kg) for tickets purchased in Brazil . With the exception of original factory-sealed boxes that will be accepted on a standby basis, we do not accept boxes as checked baggage to Central or South America (except Brazil , Mexico , and Chile ) at any time of the year.
