The airline, with its state of the art fleet of A320s, A321s and A340s, serves Jamaica with over 330 flights a week from its 10 gateways in the United States, 8 in the Caribbean and London in the UK. Air Jamaicas interline agreements with its major US partners afford it direct access to over 150 cities in North America.
Check-in times: Check-in begins 3 hours prior to departure at the Air Jamaica airport ticket counter. Passengers are to arrive at the airport 2 ½ hours prior to the scheduled departure of their flight. You should be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart. Failure to do so may result in seat cancellation and the removal of your checked bags from the aircraft.
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for a new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.
Baggage allowance:
2 checked bags up to 70 lbs (32kg) each with maximum dimensions of 62 (157cm) each are allowed for passengers of the First Class and 2 checked bags up to 50 lbs (23kg) each with maximum dimensions of 62 (157cm) each are allowed for passengers of the Lovebird Economy Class free of charge. For London Route Only 3 checked bags up to 70 lbs (32kg) each with maximum dimensions of 62 (157cm) each ( Executive Business) and 2 checked bags up to 70 lbs (32kg) each with maximum dimensions of 62 (157cm) each (Economy Deluxe Class and Economy Class ) are allowed.
1 carry-on bag up to 22 lbs (10kg) with maximum dimensions of 45 (114cm) each is allowed on flights To/from Canada and to All other points - 1 carry-on bag up to 30 lbs (14kg) with maximum dimensions of 45 (114cm) each is allowed. From the UK - 1 carry-on bag up to 11 lbs (5kg) with maximum dimensions of 45 (114cm) is allowed.
Each piece of checked baggage weighing 51-70 lbs (2332 kg) will be charged US$25 (CAD34.00) per bag if it is a part of your free allowance. (Not applicable for travel to/from the UK). Bags weighing over 70 lbs (32kg) or exceeding 62 (157cm) regardless of the weight will not be accepted and must be shipped via Cargo

Child fares: Infants over 14 days and under two years of age may be held on an adult's lap free of charge.
Pet travel: Pets are not accepted for carriage on any JM aircraft neither as checked baggage nor as Cargo. Only seeing-eye dogs may be transported in the cabin when accompanying a passenger who is dependant on it.
Pre-assigned seating: : can be booked online for no extra cost
Legroom: seat pitch is about 32-34.
In-flight service: Meals and snacks are served, soft and alcoholic drinks are available for sale. Ρ omplimentary entertainment is offered on all audio/visual-equipped flights.
