Frontier Airlines is a low-cost airline based at Denver International Airport in Denver , Colorado , USA . It operates flights throughout the United States , Mexico , and Canada .
Frontier is a regional airline with two thirds of its US destinations west of the Mississippi River . The Rocky Mountain States are the carrier's focus coverage area; this coverage is augmented with codesharing commuter airlines based at Denver . Frontier has deferred expansion in the competitive East Coast cities such as Boston , but otherwise is expanding outside the US in Mexico and Canada . However, the carrier does service the Florida tourist destinations and the business essential cities of New York , Philadelphia and Washington along the East Coast. The remaining Eastern interior city destinations are in the Midwest along with Atlanta and Nashville in the South.
Check-in times: baggage check-in cut off is 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure for international flights.
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for a new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.
Baggage allowance: one piece of carry-on baggage is allowed per passenger. Carry-on bag's dimensions can't exceed a total of 49 linear inches (length + width + depth) and the bag can't weigh more than 35 pounds. In addition to the one carry-on bag allowance such personal articles as handbag or pocketbook, coat or wrap, umbrella or walking stick ,camera or binoculars, briefcase or laptop computer case, canes, crutches, braces or other assistive devices on which the passenger is dependent, infant bag or an Infant/child safety seat used to transport the infant/child (if the child has a ticket and will be using the seat in flight, it must be an FAA approved safety seat) may be carried on the aircraft. Assistive devices for qualified passengers with special needs may be brought on the plane in addition to the above. Each ticketed passenger is allowed to check up to two pieces of baggage free of charge.. Baggage over the two baggage limit is subject to a $50 excess baggage fee per item. Each of the two pieces you check can't exceed 62 linear inches (length + width + depth) or weigh more than 50 pounds. There is a $50 fee for bags exceeding these weight limitations and a $50 fee for exceeding dimension parameters. Baggage that weighs more than 100 pounds or exceeds 80 linear inches (length + width + depth) is not accepted.

Child fares: An infant is allowed to travel free of charge on the lap of an adult until his or her second birthday. Only one infant per paying adult is allowed to travel as a lap child. If one adult is traveling with two infants, the first infant may travel as a lap child and the second infant must be placed in his or her own seat with an approved car seat. If you're traveling with a child who's less than two years old and he or she is in need of a seat, we offer a reduced fare. Pet travel: currently pets are not accepted in the aircraft cabin. Only service animals assisting individuals with disabilities or special needs are accepted. Pets checked as baggage must travel in an approved travel container and weigh less than 20 pounds each. Two pets are allowed per ticketed passenger (for a fee of $100 per travel container one-way or $200 per travel container roundtrip). Pets on international or charter flights, reptiles, amphibians, insects or arachnids/spiders are not accepted as checked baggage.
