Midwest Airlines is an American scheduled passenger airline based in Milwaukee , Wisconsin , operating from General Mitchell International Airport . Midwest was founded in 1984 and has become the longstanding largest operation at Mitchell Airport and serves 21 cities non-stop.
Check-in times: If you're checking in at the airport you're recommend to arrive at least 90 minutes before your scheduled flight. All passengers must check in, receive a seat assignment and be at the boarding point ready to board the aircraft at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the flight. You can check in online up to 24 hours before your flight from any computer with an Internet connection and a printer, or use one of the self-service kiosks available in Milwaukee and Kansas City .
Change to passenger name or flight: Name changes are allowed on wholly unused tickets for a $50 fee. Requests must be made in writing and signed by the original traveler or purchaser. The letter along with photo ID must be presented at the airport on the day of travel. To change your flight a $100 change fee applies, plus any difference in fares . Midwest Airlines charges a $100 change fee per ticket when making travel changes to nonrefundable fare types. Canadian originating travel changes will be assessed a change fee of $100 plus the Canadian Goods and Services tax on the $100.

Baggage allowance: Passengers are limited to two checked bags (up to 62 in./158 cm. and 50 lbs./23 kg. each) and one carry-on bag plus one personal item. Carry-on must fit in overhead or under seat (21 x 9 1/2 x 14). Any piece that exceeds the free baggage allowance is charged $50 per piece each way. Overweight Baggage between 51-70 lbs is charged $25 and between 71-100 lbs. $50 per piece each way. Oversized Baggage between 63 - 115" is charged $80 per piece each way.

Infants under two may be held on an adult's lap free of charge.
and are eligible for a 50% discount off the applicable adult fare, but must be booked at the same time as accompanying adults.
Pet travel: Midwest Airlines/Midwest Connect will accept a small dog for transportation in the aircraft cabin provided the animal meets the conditions of acceptance, documentation, and carrier requirements. A $75 one-way charge applies to animals as checked baggage. A veterinarian's certificate of health is required and must be issued within 10 days of departure date. Dogs: American Staffordshire ,Terrier,Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffin, Bull Mastiff, Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, English Toy Spaniel, French Bulldog, Japanese Boxer, Japanese Spaniel (Chin), Lhasa Apso, Pekinese,Pug (all breeds), Shar-Pei, Shih Tzu,Staffordshire Bull Terrier and cats : Burmese, Exotic, Himalayan, Persian will not be transported when temperatures at any point on the planned itinerary exceed 75 degrees Fahrenheit (24 degrees C).
Pre-assigned seating: can be booked online for no extra cost.
Legroom: seat pitch is about 32-34 inches , depending on the aircraft's type
In-flight service:
Meals, snacks and drinks are served. Alcohol is available for sale. Different entertainments are offered during the flight.
Air miles: :
frequent flyer scheme, Midwest Miles, is available for online enrollment. It gives a chance to earn free travel and access to special features , like managing credits from canceled flights, etc
