Aero Mexico , is Mexico's largest airline, largest in Latin America by number of destinations and also by fleet was founded in 1934 (as Aeronaves de México) . It has been considered the most on-time airline worldwide for more than 11 years. It operates more than 400 daily flights. Its main base is Mexico City International Airport , Mexico City with hubs at General Mariano Escobedo International Airport , Monterrey , General Ignacio Pesqueira Garcia International Airport , Hermosillo and Don Miguel Hidalgo Costilla International Airport , Guadalajara .
Check-in times: passengers are to arrive at the airport 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of their flight. Due to security requirements, passengers and their baggage will not be accepted at the ticket counter less than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of their flight.
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for a new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.
Baggage: One piece of carry-on baggage is permitted on all flights besides briefcases, handbags and laptop computer, provided the external surface area does not exceed 1.15 m (45 inches) and together does not weigh more than 12 kilos (26 pounds). For International Flights : Excess baggage will be charged per piece. Additional charges shall apply to baggage exceeding the published weight or size, (32 kilos/1.58 m). Senior fares: Adults must be traveling on Aero Mexico's purchased published fare
Child fares: Infants under two may be held on an adult's lap free of charge.
Pet travel: cats or dogs can be carried for a fee of $35. Only one pet is allowed per passenger, with the exception of service animals.
Pre-assigned seating: can be booked for no extra cost online . A seating plan with legroom details is also available on http://www.aeromexico.com , where you can choose the perfect seat.
Legroom: seat pitch is about 32-34”.
In-flight service: : Meals and snacks are served, soft and alcoholic drinks are available for sale. Various entertainment is offered during the flight. Phones are available on some flights for $ 2.50 USD connection fee and $ 2.50 USD per minute or partial minute for domestic calls and $ 5.00 USD connection fee/$ 5.00 USD per minute or partial minute for International Calls .
Air miles: frequent flyer scheme, Club Premier, is available for online enrollment. It gives a chance to earn free travel and access to special features , like managing credits from canceled flights,etc
