Air France ( Compagnie Nationale Air France ) is a subsidiary of Air France-KLM. Before its merger with KLM, it was the national airline of France , employing 71,654 people (as of January 2005).The company's headquarters are located at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport near Paris ; these headquarters are now used by Air France-KLM. Between April 2001 and March 2002, the airline transported 43.3 million passengers and earned 12.53 billion Euro. Check-in times: passengers are to arrive at the airport 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of their flight. Due to security requirements, passengers and their baggage will not be accepted at the ticket counter less than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of their flight. Note that check-in deadline may be greater than 30 minutes at some airports.( check-in deadline is 60 min from Africa, Middle East , Asia - Pacific Ocean, French Caribbean and Indian Ocean, America, etc )
Change to passenger name or flight: changes can be made either online for some extra cost per person plus any difference in price for a new flight, or at the call center for extra cost per person plus any difference in price. For travel to the same destination, the reservation can be changed to standby travel for any flight to the destination leaving on that day for no extra cost. If the original flight was the last out of the airport, standby travel for the first of the next day's flights is allowed and if there is only one flight per day, standby on a flight on the preceding or following day is not allowed.

Baggage allowance: 2 checked bags with the maximum weight of 32 kg each and max dimensions of 158 cm are allowed per passenger free of charge. For Flights to and from the following African cities: Abidjan, Bamako, Bangui, Brazzaville, Cairo, Conakry, Cotonou, Dakar, Djibouti, Douala, Kinshasa, Lagos, Libreville, Lomé, Luanda, Niamey, Ouagadougou, Port Harcourt, Yaoundé you can check in up to a maximum of 3 baggage items per person. In the cabin, you can transport 1 baggage item + 1 personal item, such as a handbag, laptop computer, or camera free of charge (The total weight of carry-on items must not exceed 12 kg and the total dimensions of carry-on, including wheels and handles, can not exceed 115 cm (width + length + height = 115 cm).

Child fares: children under 2 years of age can travel free on domestic flights ( France ), and 10% of the price of an adult fare on international routes.
For children from 2 to 11 years of age have discounts of up to 50% on domestic flights ( France ) and up to 33% on international routes.
Pet travel: cats or dogs can be carried for a certain fee. Only one pet is allowed per passenger, with the exception of service animals
