Boston is considered to be one of the oldest cities in the US . In Boston modern rubs shoulders with the old, the city is full of historical Colonial buildings downtown, 19th-century mansions , brownstones in Beacon Hill and Back Bay as well as historic buildings adapted for reuse to house businesses and shops.
