Reasons to go to Charlotte
Charlotte or The Queen City (it is named for King George III's wife, Queen Charlotte) – is first of all a business town full of futuristic high-rises and elevated walkways ..It is considered to be largest city in North Carolina and the second-largest banking center in the country and also one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.
If you want to step back in time you can have a historic walking tour through Uptown. The city dates from Revolutionary War times with its Uptown area which includes the Fourth Ward neighborhood, the so called Charlotte's "old city." Thanks to the architecture and sensibility of this neighborhood you are given a glimpse of real life in a less hectic time, which won't make you indifferent, but amazed and delighted.
Discovery Place is probably the top attraction in Charlotte It is a technology and hands-on science museum, where permanent exhibits are being held such as an aquarium, a tropical rain forest, dinosaurs with robotic models that can move and roar, and an IMAX Dome theater and what not . The child-oriented Charlotte Nature Museum exhibits the animals and plants of the area including a Butterfly Garden can't but please children and grown-ups.
Everybody will definitely find here something to his/her taste.

The warmest month is July with the temperature reaching 90 and the coldest one is January. Winter temperatures dip to the mid to low 30s (Fahrenheit). Summer temperatures are in the 80s, and it can be rather humid during this season.
Peak season
The most perfect time to visit Charlotte is spring when all the trees are in bloom. Plenty of craft, art, folk, and music festivals are held in summer, as well as sports events. September and August is time for state and local fairs.
As for temperatures during the year, it is approximately 30 (Fahrenheit) in winter and 80 in summer. In July the temperature can reach 90, and it can be rather humid during this tiem of the year. January is considered to be the coldest and July -the warmest month .
