Reasons to go to Las Vegas
Sometimes Las Vegas is called Sin City because of its 24-hour drinking laws, endless gambling and adult entertainment, though there are plenty of churches in the capital of Nevada.. It's not surprising that Las Vegas is called by tourism promoters and local government “The Entertainment Capital of the World". The city used to be a railroad town and was founded in 1905, so we can say it's a young city. Legalization of gambling was adopted in 1931. Bugsy Siegel's Flamingo Hotel was opened that year as well, and in 1946 became the Las Vegas Strip. Nowadays the most famous and well known resort hotels are situated along the Strip, which length is about four miles .
Cuisine is amazing here, as there's a great number of wonderful celebrity chefs in Las Vegas. Wolfgang Puck is among them. But at the same time the city is full of small fast-food restaurants just to fill up your stomach.
