Reasons to go to France

France Flights Seasonality

On the whole France has a mild climate. High humidity, lots of rain, frequent westerly winds, and cool summers are typical of the northwest whereas the northeast has a classic continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. The Alps, Pyrenees, and Massif Central mountains have a semi-continental climate with harsh winters and hot summers. Mediterranean climate with mild winters and very hot summers is in Southern France .

Peak Season:
Summers ( July and August) and winters are the peak seasons for holiday-makers. Beaches and mountains are crowded in summer and ski resorts in winter.
In July and August the citied are overcrowded with tourists. The peak season for Paris runs from Easter to mid-September.

Off Season:
A quiet season to visit Paris is March and April, and both spring and fall in Nice, Marseille, and Toulouse can be delightful. June and September are Lyon's off season
