This Caribbean island has plenty of ancient buildings and monuments, some of which date back 500 years to the conquistadors. Being rich in rainforests, natural resources and ancient volcanic mountains, Puerto Rico provides birding, hiking, diving, and caving opportunities
Puerto Rico 's society reminds if a melting pot. The Spanish, the Africans, The Indian and the U.S. have influenced the traditions, customs and style of life of the island. You'll always find something new and interesting to explore here, something that won't make you indifferent.

Puerto Rico Flights Seasonality

Puerto Rico has a tropical climate. It's a bit cooler in the mountains than on the coasts. Average highs are in the upper 80s (Fahrenheit), and it is a bit warmer from June to September. The amount of rainfall may vary. The driest months are considered to be February and March. Hurricanes are rather a common occurrence here. June through November is generally the hurricane season , with the highest risk in September.
Peak Season:
From mid-December to mid-April is the peak season for holidaymakers. Rates are extremely high that’s why it's better to make reservations at least two to three months in advance.
Off Season:
From late spring to late fall is considered to be an off season. Plenty of facilities tend to be open and some of the resort shops usually have summer sales. But you have to take into account that during the low season most resorts can offer fewer services and some hotels may be on construction or renovation and repair their projects, specially in summer. During week-long patron saints' festivals, which are held throughout the year it's better to make reservations.
